MDWFP's Marksmanship Program will be hosting shotgun classes on selected saturdays throughout 2010. These basic and advanced classes begin at 8:30am and finish approximately 1:00pm. They are hosted through the cooperation of local gun clubs and a grant from the National Shooting Sports Foundation. These "free of charge" classes are only open to the citizens of the state of Mississippi. They will be taught by 4 time United States International Shooting champion, and native Mississippian, John Satterwhite. The students' shot shells, clay targets, instruction, safety glasses, hearing, and eye protection will be provided along with a shotgun if you don't have one. Bring your own shotgun or use one of the schools' firearms.
